North Saskatchewan River Band

The North Saskatchewan River Band is a five–piece group which plays classic–rock songs. Until recently, NSRB has been appearing as an acoustic trio around the city of Prince Albert, featuring: Roland, Travis, and Trina. Their last appearance was on television during the Kinsmen Telemiracle 32, which aired on March 1st, and 2nd, 2008, on CTV Television. With the addition of a rhythm section, NSRB is now a five-piece band, still playing the classic–rock songs that everyone loves, but now with a fuller sound. The North Saskatchewan River Band has a bouncy sound and a great look. With their list of familiar songs, they are sure to appeal to a diverse audience, always captivating the crowd′s interest.

Arthur Ashdown plays bass-guitar. He has been playing for many years, as well as with many bands. He has played with Travis and Roland for approximately fourteen years in a variety of bands.

John Aubichon is the drummer for NSRB. He has been playing the drums for a few decades with a variety of musicians, and his mature, laid back style suits this band perfectly.

Trina Boran sings and plays the acoustic-guitar. Before NSRB, Trina has experience appearing around the province as a solo singer/song-writer. She is very excited to be part of a full ensemble for the first time.

Roland Prokopie sings and plays the electric–guitar, the six string banjo, and the harmonica. He is a versatile musician, with an understanding of musical theory. He believes that the foundation of good music is rhythm and tone.

Travis Waldner sings and plays the 4–string banjo. Although, he is originally a guitar player, it is with the addition of the banjo that insures that the North Saskatchewan River Band keeps to their "grass roots" sound.
